England fans travel for cheaper fares with Ipswich Buses whilst drivers raise cash for charity
Ipswich Buses will be offering England fans the chance to travel for just £1 all day during the World Cup whenever England play.
Passengers travelling on any Ipswich Buses services, wearing an England football shirt, past or present, will be allowed to travel for a fare of £1 all day on the day of any England game during the forthcoming World Cup.
Managing Director Malcolm Robson of Ipswich Buses stated:
“Our Company are keen to promote sustainable travel and also keen to support England in their bid to have success at the forthcoming World Cup in South Africa.
On the day of any England game during the World Cup, any passenger boarding our vehicles wearing an England football shirt, past or present will be allowed to travel all day for just £1. This will give England football fans a chance to enjoy the game at giant screens around Ipswich, have a drink to celebrate each victory and travel home in style with our Company”.
On England match days Ipswich Buses staff will be donating £1.00 to the St Elizabeth Hospice if they turn up for work wearing their England shirt.
