TOP BUS DRIVERS

Ipswich Buses now has one of the most skilled driving workforces in the country, after its driving staff acquired a 100% pass rate for advanced driving skills with the Institute of Advanced Motorists.

Ipswich Buses employs 132 bus drivers, all of whom have now successfully completed the Institute of Advanced Motorist Advanced Driving Test for bus drivers.

Ipswich Buses Managing Director Malcolm Robson states:
“Our Company and our staff are all committed to offering high quality local bus services in and around Ipswich.  All our driving staff have now achieved a higher standard of professional bus driving than that is required from their vocational bus driving licence, which indicates our ongoing commitment to staff development within the Company.

We are obviously delighted that all our driving staff have now achieved the standard which, along with the ongoing training commitment towards the bus drivers Certificate of Professional Competence, means that our staff must be one of the most skilful group of people employed by any bus company in the country”.
