Ipswich Buses Shortlisted for UK Bus Operator of the Year
Ipswich Buses, the local council owned bus company operating in Ipswich, has been short listed for the award of the UK Bus Operator of the Year for operators with fleets of 250 or less.
The UK Bus Awards are made annually to reflect excellence in the bus industry and include awards for operators with less than, and more than 250 vehicles. The winners in each category then go head to head for the title of overall UK Bus Operator of the Year.
The announcement of the overall winner will be made at an awards ceremony on Wednesday 1 November 2006.

“This is a superb achievement by our company, and all its staff, in being short listed for the award of Operating Excellence for Operators of smaller fleets of less than 250 buses.
Our submission, when nominated for this award, highlights our commitment to providing a reliable, punctual and high quality bus services to local residents of Ipswich. Our application was assessed across a number of challenging criteria, and our short listing is recognition of the hard work and efforts of many people in our company.
