BUS DRIVERS SUPPORT WEARING OF IPSWICH TOWN SHIRTS TO WORK DAY
Ipswich Buses drivers will be proudly wearing their Ipswich Town shirts whilst donating to the Evening Star’s “Somebody’s Daughter” appeal on Friday 11 April 2008.
Ipswich Buses staff wearing their Ipswich Town shirts, either home or away, will be donating £1 to the appeal, whilst other staff wearing other sporting shirts will be expected to donate a minimum of £2. However, contrary to the Evening Star’s generous £2 requirement for Norwich shirts, Ipswich Buses will be requiring anyone wearing a Norwich shirt whilst working to donate a minimum of £5 to the appeal.
Ipswich Buses Managing Director Malcolm Robson states:
“Our Company and staff are delighted to be able to support the Evening Star’s “Somebody’s Daughter” appeal with our staff wearing their Ipswich Town shirts in the run up to the derby game against Norwich this weekend. However unlike the Evening Star general campaign we are not being as generous to Norwich City supporters and will expect a minimum of £5”.
