OVER 90% OF BUS PASSENGERS SATISFIED
The results of the June 2009 Ipswich Buses annual customer survey, undertaken by an independent market research Company, have indicated improving public attitudes towards its bus services in Ipswich.
The major points of the consultation exercise have shown that 91% of Ipswich Buses customers are satisfied with the service the Company provides.
75% of bus users were satisfied with the frequency of their services. 86% were satisfied with their bus service reliability and a whopping 98% satisfied with the length of time their journey takes.
At the present time, when many people are counting the pennies due to economic condition, over 80% of bus users in Ipswich said they were satisfied with their fare levels.
In the last six months a number of users have transferred to using Ipswich Buses services of which 77% of these new users have stated that they used to be car users.
Managing Director of Ipswich Buses Ltd Malcolm Robson states:
