TWO DRIVERS IN THE TOP 20

Two Ipswich Buses drivers have successfully competed in the National Bus Driver of the Year Championships of the Year held in Blackpool of the weekend of 5th and 6th September 2009.  Both have managed to achieve top twenty placings.  Drivers Stuart Chenery and David Williams from Ipswich Buses finished 18th and 20th respectively after completing two days of gruelling competition including theory tests, mechanical tests and practical driving.

Managing Director Malcolm Robson states:

“We are delighted that a small Company operating in a major finals have managed to achieve two of its drivers in the top twenty bus driving in the United Kingdom.  This is a remarkable achievement for Stuart and David for which they are to be congratulated”.
