IPSWICH BUSES SPONSORS BOOK BUS

Ipswich Buses are proudly sponsoring the new Book Bus providing reading opportunities for children at the recently reopened Gainsborough Library.

The Book Bus is in full Ipswich Buses livery and, in keeping with all the Ipswich Buses fleet, has its own individual name.

After a competition run during the build up to the reopening of the library, the local residents voted for the bus to be named “Bobby”, a symbolic gesture after the recent death of Sir Bobby Robson the well known fomer Ipswich Town Football Club Manager.

Managing Director of Ipswich Buses Malcolm Robson stated:
“We were delighted to be given the opportunity to help in developing reading skills for young people in and around the Gainsborough Library area.  The Book Bus looks immaculate in our full Ipswich Buses livery and logo proudly displaying the name Bobby”.
