IPSWICH BUSES SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETES ITS CHARTERMARK REVIEW
As part of its commitment in providing excellence in all aspects of its operations, Ipswich Buses have successfully completed its annual assessment of the Chartermark Award granted to the Company at the end of 2007.
In the opinion of the Chartermark assessors Ipswich Buses continues to put quality at the heart of all aspects of its operations despite difficult operating conditions and challenging times ahead.
Managing Director of Ipswich Buses Malcolm Robson states:-
“The ongoing attainment of Chartermark standards reflects the level of commitment, energy and endeavours of a large number of people to ensure that the local residents of Ipswich have a locally owned and managed bus Company, which aims to provide services of the highest quality during extremely challenging and difficult economic times”.

Ipswich Buses Retains Charter Mark for Record Time
Ipswich Buses the municipally owned bus Company providing local bus services in and around Ipswich in Suffolk has achieved the Chartermark standard awarded by the Prime Minster’s office for its excellence and delivery of a comprehensive network of bus services.
Ipswich Buses Managing Director Malcolm Robson states:
“The achievement of the Chartermark award for a fourth successive time is a wonderful recognition of the hard work by a large number of staff in providing local bus services to local residents of Ipswich.
The Chartermark standard indicates our Company’s commitment to aiming to provide local services of the highest quality and being able to address problems and issues in an effective, speedy manner if they do arise”.
Ipswich Buses is one of only two bus companies in the country along with Warrington Borough Transport to achieve the Chartermark standard for a comprehensive network of services. The Company first achieved the Chartermark standard in 1998 and this award is the fourth time the Company has achieved the standard.
