SUMMER OFFER SEES INCREASE BUS USAGE

Ipswich Buses is offering discounted a Child Day Rover ticket of £1 for all young people using its services in Ipswich during the school summer holiday period to travel anywhere on any of its services.

During the first two weeks of the summer the number of Child Day Rover tickets sold on Ipswich Town services have increased by over 40% on the same period last year.

Managing Director Ipswich Buses Ltd Malcolm Robson states:
“This offer of £1 for a whole days travel on any of our services is providing young people in and around Ipswich with a chance to visit the many attractions of our town including the waterfront and the parks at a significantly reduced fare whilst also promoting sustainable travel in and around Ipswich for the summer period”
