Ipswich Buses Signs Skills Pledge

Ipswich Buses, the municipally owned bus Company operating over one hundred vehicles in and around Ipswich on local bus services, has committed itself to the national skills pledge, showing its support to develop all its employees in their basic skills including literacy and numeracy and working towards relevant valuable qualifications to at least NVQ level II.
Managing Director of Ipswich Buses Malcolm Robson states:
“Our Company have, for a considerable length of time, been fully committed to developing skills and knowledge of all our staff.
We have recently obtained accreditation to deliver the nationally recognised Certificate of Professional Competence for bus drivers which commences in 2008.
The Skills Pledge indicates that our Company are committed to ensure that all our staff are skilled and competent and are able to make a full contribution to the success of our Company and to the wider local community.
The Skills Pledge was signed by Ipswich Buses Financial Director Julie Dyson along with the Development and Training Manager Tony Moss with the Minster for Skills David Lammy MP”. |
