New Bus Site Brings More Users

The Ipswich Bus Surgery held in conjunction with Bus Users UK on the Cornhill in Ipswich on Wednesday 27 August 2008 attracted much interest for everyone involved.

The Ipswich Buses vehicle attracted over 300 visitors to the Surgery on the Cornhill, where representatives from Ipswich Buses, First, Ipswich Borough Council and Suffolk County Council were on hand to hear comments about bus services in and around Ipswich.

Managing Director of Ipswich Buses Malcolm Robson states:
“The vast majority of our users who attended the surgery were there to discuss the recent service changes announced by our Company, with the majority of users expressing concern at the withdrawal of service 2 which operates to Priory Heath and Gainsborough via Caudwell Hall Road and Lindbergh Road.

In the circumstances we were delighted with amount of people who took the trouble to visit our surgery and let us know their opinions, not only for our proposed services but also to give many compliments to our staff and services which continue to provide services in an ever increasing difficult conditions in and around Ipswich”.
