Customer Information – Coronavirus COVID-19 Travel Shop Temporary Closure

As the Coronavirus COVID-19 continues to spread, we recognise and appreciate the increased uncertainty that this is causing. The situation has our fullest attention and the safety of our customers and colleagues is always our top priority.

Following the Prime Ministers announcement to only leave your home for essential reasons and the dramatic reduction in people using the bus it is with regret that Ipswich Buses we have taken the decision to close our travel shop from 14:00 on Saturday 4th April 2020 until further notice.

We advise any customer who may wish to renew their smartcard to download the free Ipswich Buses App from Google Play or The App Store where a wide range of M-Tickets can be purchased.

A wide range of tickets can also be purchased from your driver using contactless payment, Google Pay & Apple Pay for your safety and convenience. We do still take exact fare cash payments, but we strongly advise you to wash your hands thoroughly before and after using cash. Full details of the tickets we offer are available from our website.
