Customer Service Apprenticeship

We are looking for a Confident
and Enthusiastic person to join our team.

Job Description

Working in the travel office at Tower Ramparts, you will be the first point of contact for customers with bus
and fare inquiries. You will be part of a team working to keep customers happy
and informing them about any bus changes, where to get a bus from and what time
it goes.

The hours are full time a min of 36 hours a week, main days to work will be Monday- Friday 07:45- 5:45 and every
Saturday 9:45-4:15

Days off will be a Sunday and one
day off during the week.

Full training will be provided

Main Duties

Answer internal/external incoming calls

Extending Bus Tickets

Taking payments for travel tickets

Completing Admin Duties

Dealing with customer Inquiries


Skills Required

The successful candidate will have a friendly
and confident manner, good customer service skills.
Knowledge of Ipswich would be advantage but training will be provided, you
would need to have a good telephone manner as we get a lot of calls about bus
times and routes.

Main Skills

Excellent communication skills face to face or by telephone

Numeracy & Literacy Skills

Good knowledge of Microsoft office and Excel packages

Excellent customer service

Person Specification

This role will suit someone who is keen to progress and doesn’t mind working in a busy shop environment. Able to start
