Punctuality Improvements - April 14th 2024
Town Service Improvements
On the 14th of April, we will be making some minor adjustments to some of the services on our network. The purpose of these changes is to improve the punctuality and reliability of our network and improve the quality of service we deliver to you, our customer.
Most of these alterations involve small adjustments to departure times and journey times around the afternoon peak to ensure services can depart on time and remain punctual during the afternoon and into the evening.
The following services will see punctuality-focused improvements made to timetables, with no changes to their route or level of service:
- 16:37 and 17:07 departures from John Lewis will depart at 16:40 and 17:10
- Minor adjustment to departure times from 14:55 onwards
- Afternoon and evening journeys have been re-organised and will operate at an even 15-minute frequency.
- The 17:12 departure from John Lewis will terminate at Tower Ramparts instead of Ipswich Railway Station.
- 18:50 departure from Tower Ramparts is retimed to improve punctuality.
- 15:05 and 15:35 departures from Ipswich Hospital is retimed
- All departures after 15:35 will operate 10 minutes later
- Minor adjustment to departure times before 08:00
- 18:00 departure from Tower Ramparts is retimed
- Adjustment to departure times in the mornings, mid-afternoons and afternoon peak
